Established at the turn of the century, the ranch sits in a scenic valley of lakes meadows, wetlands and forests on 640 acres of prime recreational property surrounded by 'crown lands'. It's home to some of the finest horseback riding and fly-fishing in North America. You'll wake to the sound of loons calling across the lake, enjoy a western breakfast buffet, then set out for a day of adventure. In the evening join the other guests and wranglers in the dining room. Have a glass of wine, share stories about the days activities, hear some cowboy tales, then sit down to a hearty ranch style buffet. Later, kick back by the campfire,throw some darts, play cards or watch a movie in the lodge. Crystal Waters Guest Ranch is a year round, working cattle ranch also breeding Quarter Horses. We encourage our guests to join in the round-ups and discover the skills it takes to be a cattleman. The Wetlands Project, created by Ducks Unlimited right here on the ranch, is home to numerous species of waterfowl and wildlife. They can be viewed on foot or by the canoes and kayaks provided.
